Escotland: Green Lands and Castles
Since I started watching the Outlander series, my passion to know Scotland increased. Its green lands, its lakes, the rains and the infrastructure of its castles are the images that attract my attention to this specific country. Scotland is one of the countries that makes up the United Kingdom, and is located on the Island of Great Britain. An important fact of the culture of Scotland, is a musical instrument called “bagpipe”, specifically the bagpipes of the Highlands, I imagine that they have heard it more than a moment, and together with their music we also associate a skirt that dresses the man who plays the bagpipe. I will also tell you about the political movement that originated in Scotland, they called themselves the Jacobites, and this was intended to put a Scottish king back on the throne of the United Kingdom.
